Well done to our Mixed Doubles who very narrowly missed the DLTC Class 2 playoffs, finishing 3rd in a group of 6 including Shankhill, Wicklow, David Lloyd, St Marys and Rathgar.

Despite beating St. Marys 2-1 in the final league round on Wednesday, other matches did not go our way.

Stratford was represented along the way by Niamh O’R, Denise, Nicola, Ruth, Teresa H, Maura, Patrick D, Michael W, John O’B, Trevor and Dave C. A big thanks to all the players who made themselves available for the matches.

A big thank-you to all the folks behind wednesday night’s BBQ – Ruth Bradfield for sorting the drinks and food; Liza Kelly for yummy desert; Paul O’Callaghan for barbequing duties and Kieron O’Brien for the loan of the BBQ. Hope we haven’t let anyone out.

It was a great night and looking we’re forward to the next social event. The only disappointment was that our mixed doubles teams missed it due to their league match.
